The ion exchange membrane consists of Cation Exchange Membrane (CEM), Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM), and Bipolar Membrane.
CEM allows only cations to pass through while blocking anions.
Similarly, AEM operates in the same way, enabling the separation of cations and anions.
